Dear Editor,
James Madison said in the Federalist Papers #45- "The powers
delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and
defined. Those which are to remain in the state government are numerous and
indefinite." This is vastly opposite of what we have
today with party control of and corporate influence in all levels of our
government.
Tragically, too many elected officials are violating our civil
liberties under the guise of representing and protecting us. Those especially
elected that claim to be Christian should know all power belongs to God (Psa.
62:11) As the
Apostle Paul says in II Corr. 3:17 "where the Spirit of the Lord is,
there is liberty." True faith
will insist on liberty!
The Lord said, "Wherefore by their fruits you shall know
them." Because true followers are
doers of the Word, not just sayers. For those in
government, the fruit that we shall know them by is called a voting record,
especially for anyone that claims to be fighting for our liberties.

scores Congress' votes on civil
liberties, non-intervention, personal freedom, government spending, and monetary
policy. They also give a description
of each bill and how each member of Congress voted.
Here in 4th District, U.S. Representative Vicky Hartzler
scored only 34%! She has earned this
score by her continual voting on corporate welfare, crony spending to the
military-industrial complex, and tax subsidies to the rich. Hartzler is also
voting away our God-given freedoms that belong to 'we the people' by
transferring them over to the control of federal government agencies i.e- NSA spying, NDAA- indefinite detention, to name of
few.
There is so much damage that has been done it would behoove you to
visit the site above, and hold it up to the light of liberty for yourself.
Even Congressman Cleaver in the 5th District has a higher score for liberty
with 42% against her 34%. I believe there is a candidate in 4th
District running on the Republican ticket that won't surrender our God-given
freedoms to the god of money. His name is John Webb and please visit him at
